Matthew co-founded The SOCO having previously been the Chief Executive Officer of U+I PLC, the regeneration specialist, for a decade. Having pivoted the business from Central London commercial to UK wide residential regeneration projects, Matthew has long advocated for high quality design and placemaking in order to better the lives of future residents.

Ben HarshakCo-founder

Ben has a background in housebuilding and Build to Rent. This, combined with his personal experiences as a young renter in London, has driven Ben to explore various solutions for young renters in urban locations. Ben is tireless in his pursuit of fair, safe and healthy housing to supplement the existing housing stock in the UK.

Flan McNamaraCo-Founder

Flan joined The SOCO having previously held the same role for the entire Shard Estate in London Bridge and as Construction Director for Westfield in White City. Flan brings with him over 40 years, and billions of pounds, of construction know how. This is integral in ensuring that all SOCO projects are seamlessly built allowing for a smooth occupation of all our buildings.
